The Green Building Division was started in 2008 to generate a shift towards more sustainable practices in commercial real estate development, construction, and brokerage. Once fully established it will specialize on transactions with green commercial real estate.   

At this point CBC AI Group is testing various elements of its green framework and building community awareness about ecological issues by conducting seminars, decreasing eco impact of its activities through reduction in water, energy use, sustainable purchasing, staff education, recycling and support of community eco initiatives.

CBC AI Group is the first in Coldwell Banker Commercial network to develop office sustainability policy, to partner with USGBC, Energy Star, and to have LEED Accredited Professionals in a team. CBC AI Group has the largest number of LEED Accredited Professionals comparing to other Coldwell Banker Commercial offices.
